Position Overview: As a Marketing Lead at Energy 350 you will have a strategic role in our Program Management Contract with our client, Energy Trust of Oregon. A large portion of this role will be developing and leading the implementation of a marketing strategy for Energy Trust of Oregon’s industrial and agricultural program, Production Efficiency. At Energy 350, our department leads provide strategic direction as well as boots-on-the-ground implementation and project management where it makes sense. With the support of our subcontracted marketing partner, you will execute the marketing plan, while checking in with our client as you revise, refine, and expand marketing strategies. Internally, you will gain a thorough understanding of each department, work closely with department leads, and ensure our marketing strategies align with our client’s overarching goals. 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing ongoing and evolving multichannel marketing strategies for the Production Efficiency program, supporting outreach functions targeting industrial and agricultural customers and vendors, and serving as the internal point of contact for our client. 
  • Performing market intelligence; including gathering BIPOC and rural community input, community engagement, market research, and insights gained from community-based liaisons, internal DEI Council, and other third-party resources.  
  • Creating and managing the implementation of an annual strategic marketing plan, which can include but isn’t limited to the following channels: media advertising, public relations, digital content, social media, community outreach, events, newsletters, cooperative marketing and direct marketing. 
  • Project managing/implementing projects alongside our marketing subcontractor. 
  • Aligning marketing strategy with our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy; reaching customers that have not been served in the past, including rural populations and people of color.  
  • Working closely with our outreach team, ensuring our marketing strategy tells a story that opens doors for the outreach team to engage with potential customers and vendors. 
  • Working with other program leads; understanding how each department interacts with one another, ensuring that program goals are reflected in marketing strategy and, conversely, that marketing needs/opportunities are considered within program goals.  
  • Managing customer experience by gathering feedback, sharing it with the program leads and Energy Trust for operational adjustments and using that information to enhance marketing opportunities. 
  • Working with other Energy Trust programs’ marketing teams on program awareness marketing campaigns; ensuring Production Efficiency marketing aligns with other programs’ strategies and nests within Energy Trust’s overarching strategies.  
  • Managing relationships and project managing deliverables with creative contractors. 
  • Responsibly managing the marketing budget.

 Qualifications: We are looking for a strategic and values-focused marketing professional with a wide range of skills including excellent communication, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. This position will operate with a lot of autonomy, so self-drive and accountability will be essential.

  • Proven ability to develop marketing strategies; using best practice methods for market intelligence, and working with community liaisons.

Position Overview: The Mid-Senior Energy Engineer is responsible for working with industrial clients to identify projects to reduce energy usage, quantifying energy savings and helping determine eligible incentives for clients.  This includes a lot of problem solving, collaboration and interaction with customers. This is a work-from-home position that requires boots on the ground in Southern Idaho.

A typical day may include:

  • Conducting energy efficiency studies in the industrial sector
  • Retrocommissioning/building optimization
  • Working with commercial and industrial customers to scope and develop energy efficiency projects
  • Working with commercial mechanical contractors to scope commercial HVAC related energy efficiency projects and communicating utility incentive program requirements

Qualifications:

We are looking for a technical person with a wide range of skills including excellent communication skills and the ability to actively engage the community to help manufacturers participate in local energy efficiency incentive programs.

  • 5 or more years’ experience in the energy efficiency field
