Brian Schultz, PE

Brian Schultz is the Central Oregon account manager for industrial efficiency with Energy 350. As an Oregon Professional Engineer with over two decades of mechanical engineering experience across several industries and companies, Brian understands many manufacturing processes and materials, as well as many key factors that drive decisions within an organization. He thrives on connecting people and ideas in any realm. Brian works with industrial customers to understand their needs, learn about their processes, and identify energy saving projects. He collaborates with teammates to deliver energy studies, design consultation, and cash incentives to customers.

Brian has spent the past 23+ years of his professional time across a wide swath of engineering in the Portland area: Medical devices; Robotics & automation; bicycle components; Water, wastewater, and fisheries projects; Building mechanical design & energy analysis. He was the Energy Champion for Acumed’s SEM engagement, which was his introduction to the Energy Efficiency world. He is grateful for the community he found while earning his BSME at the University of Portland.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Brian mountain biking, skiing, or otherwise adventuring throughout Oregon and beyond – often with his wife and son. He might be strumming a guitar around a campfire or jumping into the freshest water to be found. He also enjoys giving back to his community as a volunteer firefighter-EMT with Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District.
