Dalyn McCauley

Dalyn is an Energy Engineer at Energy 350. She is part of the Standard Industrial team supporting energy efficiency projects at agricultural sites. With over seven years of experience in agriculture, Dalyn brings deep expertise in greenhouse and nursery production systems, hydroponics, orchards, and viticulture. Before joining Energy 350, Dalyn was a research associate at Oregon State University. There, she studied crop evapotranspiration, designed sensor-based irrigation control systems, and engineered IoT devices to deliver real-time crop health insights to growers. Her work has spanned a wide range of crops and irrigation systems throughout Oregon and Idaho, and she is a published author in multiple agricultural technology journals. Dalyn is passionate about water conservation and is committed to advancing energy efficiency across Oregon’s agricultural industry.

Dalyn holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, and a M.S. in Water Resource Engineering with focus in Precision Agriculture from the University of Idaho.

Outside of work, Dalyn loves exploring the PNW through whitewater rafting trips, backpacking, and trail running. She also enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, futsal, and board games.
