Gertrude Villaverde, CEM, CMVP

Gertrude was just an intern at a manufacturing facility when Energy 350 happened upon her. She worked with the Energy 350 team on an energy study for the site and was hired right out of college. At Energy 350, she supports multiple contracts with technical analysis in production efficiency for industrial facilities, efficiency upgrades for existing buildings, and market transformation for regional energy efficiency.

Gertrude is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP). She has an Honors Bachelor of Science in Energy Systems Engineering from Oregon State University – Cascades. Her involvement with the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) started in 2015, and she is currently president of the Columbia River Chapter in Portland, OR.

When she’s not digging through the data, she’s digging through the dirt in her garden or getting muddy on a hike. Equally as in-doorsy as out-, she loves to cook/bake (as a precursor to eating, her one true love), knit and crochet, and dote over her animals (two birds & a bird-dog)
