Josh Weissert, PE, CMVP

Josh is a Principal Engineer at Energy 350 and a Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in energy and industrial engineering. He manages large projects across a diverse array of evaluation, research, and implementation. Currently, he is completing an evaluation of California’s first Strategic Energy Management (SEM) programs launched in 2018 for CPUC. In addition to his role in evaluation, he has been an integral member of the Energy 350 team implementing industrial programs including SEM for Energy Trust of Oregon. Beyond SEM and industrial, Josh has experience with commercial building auditing, including leading a demand response assessment at the University of British Columbia (Point Grey Campus), conducting numerous building ventilation assessments for certification (LEED and Fitwel), and supporting Energy Trust, BPA, Puget Sound Energy and City of Seattle with commercial building studies.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys being a parent, camping with his family, woodworking and fishing.
