Katie Taylor, EIT

Katie Taylor is an Engineer 1 at Energy 350.

She is a Mechanical Engineer who joins the team after completing her Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at Portland State University. She holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Lewis & Clark College and a B.S.  in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State. She interned in the energy efficiency industry for two years while attending PSU, which is where she discovered her passion for energy efficiency. Additionally, she is a registered EIT in the state of Oregon and working towards obtaining her PE license. Katie is a native Oregonian who is passionate about preserving our outdoor spaces for generations to come. After several years of working in the outdoor industry, she was inspired to make a career change that allowed for her day-to-day work to have meaningful impact on her community and the climate. She is excited to work in alignment with her personal mission while engaging in technical analysis studies, market transformation research and more!

In her free time, Katie enjoys getting outside in a variety of low-adrenaline ways with her dog, Benny, being silly with her friends, learning new skills, having a good laugh and finding exceptionally delicious food around Portland.
