Kelson Redding, PE, CEM

Kelson Redding is a Mechanical Engineer who has lent his talents to Energy 350 as a Project Manager since 2015. His contributions include new customer and contractor outreach and education, account management and engineering analysis. Kelson prides himself on resourcefulness, results, and engaging and informing customers and clients on energy efficiency in an approachable way. In fact, he is most excited when faced with the challenge of motivating our more reluctant customers to work with our team on efficiency. Kelson is particularly adept at putting himself in the customer’s shoes as he joined our team after doing his first efficiency project as an industrial customer himself. Seeing the immense impact this work can have, inspired him to pivot into a career in energy efficiency. Prior to joining Energy 350, Kelson dabbled in the construction trades, served in the Navy, and after getting his mechanical engineering degree, worked as a manufacturing engineer in the automotive and metals industries. His broad experience earned him the ability to connect and communicate with most folks. Kelson’s credentials include his license as a Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Oregon Tech. When Kelson is not working you will find him spending time with his wife and two kids, riding bikes, skiing, daydreaming, building something interesting, or finding just about any excuse to spend time outside.
