Matt Otis

Matt Otis is a Senior Engineer with Energy 350, where he focuses on delivering high-value energy efficiency solutions across commercial and industrial facilities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and maintains both CEM and CMVP certifications. Matt brings more than a decade of experience spanning fuel cell systems, switched-reluctance motors, EV charging, energy-monitoring platforms, and distributed energy resources. Matt specializes in identifying practical, data-driven opportunities that reduce operating costs and improve system performance.

Outside of work, Matt spends as much of his time outdoors – trail running in Forest Park, backpacking across the PNW, or skiing uphill. When he’s not outside, he’s probably experimenting with new recipes, tinkering in his garage, or planning the next big travel adventure with his wife, Danielle and their dog, Shelby.
