Roger Courtain

Roger is an account manager at Energy 350. Roger genuinely enjoys helping industrial customers improve their viability through the synergistic benefits of energy conservation. Prior to joining Energy 350, Roger was a Facilities/Plant engineer for 25 years at Siltronic Corporation, a semiconductor grade silicon wafer fab, where he was responsible for many critical manufacturing support systems such as, dry-side and wet-side HVAC systems, process vacuum, process cooling, compressed air, steam boilers, high-purity bulk chemicals, exhaust treatment systems, new wafer manufacturing and lab tool installations, and cleanroom construction. In addition, Roger supported other fab systems, including ultrapure water, and wastewater treatment. Roger implemented and sustained energy conservation efforts in each of these systems.

Roger is a registered State of Oregon Professional Engineer and a Association of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Manager. He has a bachelors in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University and a masters in mechanical engineering from Portland State University.

Outside of work, Roger enjoys time with his family, home improvement projects, gardening, road biking, windsurfing, and anything outside.
