Solomon Duke

Solomon Duke is a Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Engineer at Energy 350.

Solomon delivers technical SEM services including energy auditing, engineering analysis, regression modeling, and energy calculations to support customers in identifying and verifying energy savings. Additionally, he supports the teaching and development of SEM curricula for participants in the SEM program. Solomon has worked in the energy industry since 2021 and before Energy 350, he was the Pacific Northwest lead engineer at Northshore. Here he worked to build a more sustainable internet by improving data center energy, water, and refrigerant use. Solomon is passionate about making a large climate impact in his work and has found that Energy 350 is the perfect place to do that.

Solomon holds a B.S. in Energy Science and Technology from Western Washington University as well as a minor in Energy Policy and certification in Climate Leadership. Additionally, Solomon is a certified Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Outside of work, he enjoys running, hiking, paddle boarding, camping, playing sports, and pretty much anything that involves moving his body or being in nature. He also loves to travel, eat delicious food, and learn new hobbies.
